I haven't seen one for two weeks. First Best of Oppo goes bye-bye, I don't know if I can cope with the loss of another regular segment.

Uly is usually very willing to hand the keys (screw driver) of the Oppo bus to anyone nice enough to ask.

BoO's death really hurt me the most. Though it must have been difficult for DasWauto to do that all by himself.

A year or so ago, I tried doing an Oppositelock Movie Corner post. My idea was to post weekly about an awesome car in an awesome movie. But it took upwards of two hours to compose the post the way I wanted it to be, and I just don't have that much time, even once a week. So I'm sure that keeping up CCIARAT and BoO is a big task, especially considering the pay.

I tried to do a couple "regualar posts" when I first got on Oppo, and none of them gained much traction. Only ones I still do are my occasional "Goodnight Oppo" pics, which I got the idea of from Blondedude, who probably wishes I'd stop ripping off his idea.

Best of Oppo, a daily post where DasWauto would hand pick the best Oppo posts each day so they would get the attention they deserve. It was FPd almost every single day.

It is a big task. I have 4 post series going on during the week. I have to plan everything in advance, or I can't make the post on time. I gets tiring after a while, especially if barely any one replies and you can't help be feel discouraged, -_-.

Uly can't access internet properly since everyone is watching world cup at his workplace. That's why CCIARAT is on pause.

That was the biggest problem. You spend hours in a post and you might get a couple of recommendations. It's disheartening to say the least.

Best Of Oppo. I hadn't even noticed its demise, I'm sad to say.

Yeah, pretty much. I've learned that the best time to make a post is after 4 o'clock (after normal work hours), and anytime Friday. Saturday, Sunday, (and as I found out) holidays, there's little to no interest.
I need to stop one of my posts series, since they do take up so much time....

It depends on your target audience, too. For my Planelopnik posts, the first half of a weekday is best. They get very little traction on the weekend. And shorter is always better. Most folks ignore walls of text and huge picture dumps.

Very true. Also, the post content. I like to ask questions, if the scope is too narrow, not many people will care, if its broad and/or relate able, you get FP before you know it.
